COMMUNITY EDUCATION SEMINARS – GRACE LAWYERS PARTNER INTRODUCED!

Community education seminars – grace lawyers partner introduced with preparations in full swing, we are launching our upcoming seminar series this October–November 2024, featuring two major topics: By-Laws: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (SEQ) and Insurance: Affordability and Accountability (NQ).

In our Southeast Queensland seminar series, our panel of experts will explore what is a good, a bad and what is a downright ugly by-law. They will explain why and what you can do to make your by-laws not only compliant with existing and new laws for pets and parking, but also how you can effectively communicate and seek community observance. We will delve into making and changing by-laws and also options for when you have recalcitrant residents that are causing disharmony within your community.  

In case you missed last week’s announcement, we introduced our first Strata expert who will be speaking at our North Queensland events which you can view HERE. This week we are eager to announce our second Strata industry expert panelist who will speak at our upcoming education seminars we are hosting across Southeast Queensland.

Introducing Jarad Maher, Partner – Grace Lawyers

Jarad was admitted to practice in 2007, and practices exclusively in strata and community titles, and associated areas of law.

Jarad joined Grace Lawyers as a Partner in 2023, after many years working as a Senior Associate in a specialist firm, developing and honing his skills in the areas of strata and community titles, and property law.

Jarad acts for bodies corporate and other stakeholders in the strata industry on the full range of strata-related matters, including transactional and advisory work, as well as disputes and litigation.

Grace Lawyers is now recognised as the largest law firm in Australia dealing with strata, bodies corporate and community and company title management, disputes and litigation as its core practice areas.
