Chris Irons Adjudicates the Great Strata Debate

Is it really possible for a strata community to live harmoniously?  And if so, what is the best way to go about achieving such a (in some schemes, seemingly unrealistic) goal?

That is what the upcoming Smart Strata seminar series plans to uncover as we roadshow …

With debaters (yet to be announced – yes, we know the suspense is excruciating) lining up to take a Yes or No position on this topic, we needed an expert in the strata field who lives, eats and breathes finding solutions to strata associated disputes to adjudicate and arrive at a fair and just outcome.

So who other than former Queensland Commissioner for Body Corporate and Community Management, Chris Irons now of Strata Solve to take the position of arriving at an answer to this very big question.

Chris really needs no introduction, but for those new to the strata world here is what you need to know.

With an unmatched perspective on the strata sector, Chris Irons is a thought leader for strata issues and dispute resolution. For over 5 years Chris was Queensland’s Commissioner for Body Corporate and Community Management, the only role of its type in the world. After working for well-known strata law firm Hynes Legal, Chris is now an independent strata consultant, working under the banner of Strata Solve and helping clients to untangle their strata issues with tailored solutions.

Chris brings to the table over two decades of leadership in public policy development and is a nationally accredited mediator. He is a frequent media and content contributor on strata issues. Chris is well-known for his ability to get to the heart of strata problems, focusing on cause rather than effect, and also for his mantra of inform and educate. In strata, Chris firmly believes knowledge is power.

Strata Solve combines Chris’s one-of-a-kind perspective, skillset and knowledge to help his clients save time, money and emotional toil. You can read more about Strata Solve’s services here.  In his capacity as Strata Solve Director, Chris is Senior Vice-President of the Board of Strata Community Association (Qld), which is the strata peak body. Chris is also the President of Northside Connect, a not-for-profit community and legal services provider based on Brisbane’s northside.

Chris is the human slave to a happily-retired former racing greyhound, which, importantly, has all necessary strata approvals.
