Community Education Seminars – Combustible Cladding Laws
Combustible Cladding Regulations commenced on 1 October 2018
If you own property in a low, medium or high rise strata scheme approved after 1st January 1994, these regulations will affect you!
Combustible cladding regulation specialists Ross Daley, Chief Executive Officer of Solutions in Engineering and Mario Esera, Special Counsel of HWL Ebsworth Lawyers (Brisbane) and Frank Higginson, Director of Hynes Legal (Sunshine Coast and North QLD) will present the facts on the Building and Other Legislation (Cladding) Amendment Regulation 2018.
They will provide practical solutions to achieve compliance within the time frames required and maintain a safe building.
An open forum designed to enable audience interaction will follow, led by our industry expert panel with a further networking session after the panel discussion over refreshment.
This is an evolving topic in strata not to be missed!

How do these combustible cladding regulations impact property owners in terms of long–term costs and responsibilities, especially for those in older strata schemes?

Hi Pip,
We alternate our forums between Cairns and Port Douglas so will be in Cairns early next year again. If you want to find out more about this specific topic, our presenters are always available for a call and depending on travel timing may be able to have a catch up while in Cairns.
Any chance of a Cairns Forum?
Travelling up to Port Douglas from Cairns at night, is way to scary on that road.
Cheers
Pip
