Land Valuation Objections (QLD)
New Statutory Valuations recently announced across Queensland – Disagree with a valuation? Object.
The Queensland Valuer General has recently issued new Statutory Valuations for 28 local municipalities across the state. We are half way through the objection period and the deadline is fast approaching.
The areas affected include:
Balonne, Barcaldine, Blackall Tambo, Brisbane, Bundaberg, Carpentaria, Cassowary, Central Highlands, Croydon, Gladstone, Gold Coast, Goondiwindi, Gympie, Ipswich, Livingstone, Logan, Mackay, Maranoa, Mareeba, Moreton Bay, North Burnett, Rockhampton, Somerset, Southern Downs, Tablelands, Townsville, Western Downs and Whitsunday.
Those who believe an area’s new Statutory Valuation to be incorrect, have until Monday 8 May 2017 inclusive, to object. Following this date there is no further chance to object until the next financial period.
Even if a location experiences no change in its Statutory Valuation, it does not mean the value is correct as Queensland is coming off a peak in the market. The values, especially those for commercial and multi-unit sites, should reflect this reduction.
Individuals can search for their new Statutory Valuation at https://valuations.dnrm.qld.gov.au/listings/OnlineValuationRollSearch?action=init.
If you’d like to have your new Statutory Valuation reviewed, we suggest you contact a valuation specialist to provide assistance.

Neil did a great job for Kelvin Grove Urban Village Principal Body Corporate
Valuation addresses & values displayed don’t jell. Information is too jumbled to make sense
Thanks Lewe. Great clients to work with and glad you were happy with the outcome.
Best regards
