COMMUNITY EDUCATION SEMINARS – 1ST LAWYER PANELLIST INTRODUCED!

Electric vehicles are gaining popularity – and with it comes a new set of obligations for bodies corporate that must be addressed head-on! How do we identify and manage the risks associated with Electric Vehicles and associated infrastructure? What are our obligations to approve owners’ requests to install chargers? What about fire and workplace health and safety obligations and risk assessments specific to Electric Vehicles in Strata building? Importantly, bodies corporate must act reasonably when considering owner requests and, if past decisions have disadvantaged other owners once capacity has been reached, how must we address it, and will this be at the body corporate’s cost?
